What’s included (for all photo products)
- We deliver up to 5 additional photos on top of the chosen photo pack, so you can pick the images that fit your listing best.
- Standard editing included, including:
- Exposure and color adjustments (e.g., white balance, shadows/highlights)
- Lens correction and straightening lines
- Noise reduction and sensor spot removal
- GDPR blurring (faces and/or license plates, depending on the shoot)
- Blue sky enhancement/replacement when weather conditions are unfavourable
- Output files: High-definition JPEG files (up to 20MB, 300 dpi) + a web version auto-generated on download
- Extended Blur (optional add-on): During purchase, you can select an extended blur service to automatically blur additional sensitive information (such as neighboring properties). For more information, see this article.
Ground Photo
Ground Photo is Backbone’s standard real estate photography product: interior, exterior, and the property’s setting captured from ground level by a trained photographer.

Drone Photo
Drone Photo adds an aerial perspective to show the property’s architecture and scale, as well as its surroundings.
Photo packs: 4 or 10 photos Equipment: Drone Time on site: Approximately 30 minutes (adapted to the chosen photo pack and situation on-site) Delivery time: 48 business hours (24 hours with the fast delivery option) Product portfolio: For visual examples, we invite you to see our product portfolio here.
Drone shoots depend on weather and local regulations. If a rescheduling or cancellation is necessary, you will be contacted by the photographer and/or our support team.
Exterior Photo
Exterior Photo is a standalone shoot focused entirely on the outside of the property (façade, garden, terrace, pool, and driveway). It’s designed for cases where interior access isn’t possible, or where the exterior carries the listing’s appeal.

Prestige Photo (Switzerland only)
Prestige Photo is Backbone’s high-end real estate photography product for luxury listings. It includes extended time on site and drone capture.
Photo pack: 40 photos (ground and drone) Equipment: Camera + Tripod & Drone Time on site: Circa 4 hours at the property Drone capture: Included Delivery time: Up to 48 business hours Product portfolio: For visual examples, we invite you to see our product portfolio here.
Golden hour and nighttime shots are included by default. To make the most of them, plan your shoot toward the end of the day so our photographer can capture both daylight and evening lighting. If you don’t need these shots, they can be excluded upon request.

Q: Do I need to be on site during the shoot?
A: It’s recommended. Being on site lets you share preferences and confirm priorities with the photographer.
Q: What should I do to prepare the property?
A: Please make sure the property is ready before the appointment. Remove personal items or anything you don’t want shown in the final images.
Q: Can I request additional edits?
A: Yes, additional editing solutions are available. Depending on the request, additional fees may apply. Reach out to our support team at [email protected].
Q: What if the weather is bad for a Drone Photo?
A: Drone shoots depend on weather and local regulations. If a rescheduling or cancellation is necessary, you will be contacted by the photographer and/or our support team.
Q: What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
A: Free cancellation or rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the shoot. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours incur a fee of 75% of the total order amount.
